The 1st and 2nd industrial revolutions made goods accessible via mass production. As a result of globalisation and the digital revolution this mass production has been outsourced in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency, margins and profitability. This mass production has resulted in a high level of standardisation, which has led to consumers losing their freedom of choice when it comes to work involving craftsmanship.
Because production no longer takes place in the home country there is little control over the end- product, valuable knowledge and experience – and with it innovation – are lost, and there are frequent complaints about the quality of the standardised end-product. Moreover this outsourcing is often accompanied by serious environmental pollution and appalling employment conditions.

Digital production techniques like 3D printing and CNC milling are capable of turning a digital design into a physical object instantly. In this way the European manufacturing industry can once more compete with outsourced mass production. By keeping design, production and sales in one place we have complete control of the process and the product. We know the capabilities and the limitations of our own 5 m wide CNC milling machine inside out. We integrate this knowledge in our designs. And by keeping the service in-house we also know exactly what our customers want. In this way we can achieve a superb combination of craftsmanship and industrial production.

Our digital design and production process means that we no longer need to hold any stock. This enables us to supply all our designs fully made-to-measure and in the desired materials. For example the Kruis table is available in 40 standard varieties, and there are something like 400 more available on request. It is also possible to incorporate a unique pattern or logo. And this is all delivered ultra-fast. Thanks to the 0.1mm precision of our CNC milling machine the furniture can also be slotted together and taken apart in no time, with no need for fastenings. In this way we combine the advantages of mass production with the custom work of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
